FUN STUFF: Bird Photography Project

Just finished a major photo project.  I reorganized the Bird Collection in my on-line website (link below).  I confuse people since I am a versatile photographer.  One of my heroes in photography Rick Sammon.  He has written over 35 books on photography and he says his specialty is "not specializing. "   Like him, I do not specialize either.

The divers who know me think of me as an underwater photographer.  Those who attend my photo seminars think I am a teacher.  Recently, a friend said, well, if you can make jellyfish look good, you can make me look good.  So we did a great professional headshot for Linked-In.  My food photos should make you hungry.

Well, enough of the versatile approach.  Here is my "Bird Body of Work." The first 15 Galleries are general CATEGORIES and behaviors such as BIRD ROMANCE and then naturally BABY BIRDS.  The next 30+ Galleries are alphabetically listed by the TYPE of bird.  Find your favorites.

The photos were taken all over the world including a place called Staten Island.  With the help of Cliff Hagen and Anthony Ciancimino of Protectors of Pine Oak Woods and Howie Fischer and Mike Shanley of Friends of Blue Heron Park, I am getting to better know our feathered friends.

Happy Thanksgiving, and go enjoy the birds.
