SAM ADAMS limited Editions

AFTER-THE-FACT

Without an apology tour, I enjoy beer as much as various wine, coffee, tea, and olive oil.  All have varied flavors and origins and that makes part of the fun.  All these liquids are PLAYGROUNDS, not oh-so-serious laboratories for analysis.  HOWEVER, if you spend over $50 for a bottle of anything, it STARTS TO GET REALLY SERIOUS and that can help kill the fun part.

My current favorite is Sam Adams Lattitude 48 IPA.  It is Triple hopped, using hops from the USA, England and Germany near the 48th parallel of the "hop belt."  It is a bitter nose assault.

I recently learned that Sam Adams had a new case of parts of this brew last spring. The case offered beers, 4 bottles of each of the three hops BY THEMSELVES that are used in the Lattitude 48.  Nobody told me.  You can't get it anymore.  Sam Adams did not have me on their focused e-mails.  Scap it up if you see it and finish it off.    But now you can get the flavorful, seasonal Winter Lager and Lattitude 48 IPA is offered year-round.

Now if we can get the rest of the world to be wealthier and better educated to share all of this.  Lets start with the US and getting the Jersey Shore role-model crap off the air.
